In “Mimicus,” students attend a famous performing arts school that talent agencies have their eye on. The only problem is the tendency for mimicking. A JJ Entertainment star bears a striking resemblance to an average student at the school. The JJ Entertainment star Ji Subin (Kim Yoon Woo) has been raised by his mom to mimic his peer Han Yousung (Yoo Young Jae). Subin’s mom was jealous of Yousung’s mom and her life, so she wanted to be her. That strange upbringing leads to anger and jealousy between the two teenagers, and these two guys show the eerie example of people imitating each other’s every move.

“Mimicus” is the best series to watch if you love everything performing arts. It does an amazing job illustrating stars’ innermost feelings behind the scenes as well. Although the plot may seem a bit extreme, it actually a quite relatable drama that makes viewers really reflect on situations in real life.

Ra Eun Ho (Kim Se Jeong) gets caught in the middle by befriending former friends Hyun Tae Woon (Kim Jung Hyun) and Song Dae Hwi (Jang Dong Yoon), who are both suspected of being the culprit.

Turning on the sprinkler system during classes and flying a drone with the principal’s face on it in the middle of a school assembly are examples of two of the pranks the real culprit (also known as Student X) performs. If you love solving mysteries, then “School 2017” is a definitely a fun drama to enjoy between classes. It’s impossible not to love the story, and the chemistry between the main couple is so sizzling even without a simple kiss!

Are you getting ready to enter the workforce right out of high school? Then “School 2021” is living your dream. Every young person attending these classes is learning a trade to start employment as soon as possible. And for the main characters, woodworking is the focus. Throughout the show, they create various objects like benches and music boxes!

One of the characters, Jin Ji Won (Cho Yi Hyun), works hard on a particular bench but makes one slight error in the craftsmanship. When a child starts playing on her bench, they fall and sustain an injury, which causes Jin Ji Won to be disheartened by the mistake. Nonetheless, she continues on her path until she achieves her dream of construction work on buildings. This drama is one that you can watch again. Each character is so pure and honest about their emotions toward life that you find yourself dreaming about the future too!

 

5. “Heirs”

A high school “Cinderella” story in the form of a K-drama, “Heirs” tells the story of the families of prosperous companies in South Korea who send their teenage heirs to an elite school. This prestigious institution prepares them to take over their family’s wealth. Within the fancy walls, a housekeeper’s daughter starts attending the school on a scholarship. As fate would have it, she gets involved in a love triangle with the heir to the Empire Group and an heir of a luxury resort conglomerate. Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) is the housekeeper’s daughter, while Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) are the Empire Group and luxury resort heirs, respectively.

Kim Tan accidentally first meets Cha Eun Sang when he is living overseas. Romantic sparks fly due due to his incessant flirting, and they run into each other again at home and school. On top of that, Cha Eun Sang catches bully Choi Young Do’s eye when she stands up for herself when being harassed by food delivery customers, and Choi Young Do starts falling for her. Through this K-drama gem, many of today’s biggest stars accelerated their careers. It’s a great drama to watch if you want to look back on their humble early years, and the plot is extremely entertaining.
