“The Last Empress” Pulls Ahead With Double-Digit Viewership Ratings, “Encounter” Follows Strongly

SBS’s “The Last Empress” has finally surpassed 10 percent in viewership ratings!
According to Nielsen Korea, the drama’s December 6 broadcast recorded 7.9 percent and 10.5 percent in ratings, a personal best for the drama. It came in first in its Wednesday-Thursday evening time slot.
While cable dramas ratings are aggregated in a slightly different manner, tvN’s “Encounter” followed close behind with a stable viewership of 9.3 percent, the same as that of its previous episode. It hit a peak of 10. 6 percent, and recorded 5.7 percent among those in the targeted age group of 20s-40s.
MBC’s “Children of Nobody” recorded 5.0 percent and 6.0 percent in viewership, while KBS2’s “Feel Good to Die” saw ratings of 2.1 percent and 2.7 percent.
MBN’s “Love Alert” also saw the same ratings as its previous broadcast, recorded 1.5 percent.
