“The Last Empress” Announces Changes To Schedule For Upcoming Episodes

SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Last Empress” has announced a few scheduling changes to its upcoming episodes.
On January 11, a source from the drama stated, “At 10 p.m. KST on January 16, we will be airing a ‘The Last Empress’ special that plays like a highlight reel of the 32 episodes that have aired so far. Therefore, episodes 33 and 34, which would have originally aired on January 16, will air the next day on January 17.”
“The Last Empress” premiered on November 21, 2018 and began with viewership ratings in the 7 percent mark. It has since become the frontrunner of Wednesday-Thursday dramas, setting a personal best of 17.9 percent on December 27. The drama is set in a fictional Korea where the country is governed by a constitutional monarchy. The drama has been drawing viewers in with its fast-paced story and dynamic characters.
Following the special that airs on January 16, the drama will return to its original scheduling on January 17, airing every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. KST. Catch up with the latest episode below!
