Romance continues its reign over Sunday nights!
On July 16, TV Chosun’s fantasy romance drama “Durian’s Affair” saw its viewership ratings rise to a new all-time high for the third episode in a row. According to Nielsen Korea, “Durian’s Affair” wrapped up the first half of its run with an average nationwide rating of 5.5 percent for its eighth episode, marking a new personal record for the series.
Meanwhile, JTBC’s “King the Land” enjoyed its own rise in viewership for its latest episode. The romantic comedy was the most-watched miniseries of the evening with an average nationwide rating of 11.3 percent.
tvN’s “See You in My 19th Life,” which has just two episodes left in its run, dipped slightly to a nationwide average of 4.4 percent ahead of its final week.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” successfully remained the most-watched program of any kind to air on Sunday with an average nationwide rating of 22.7 percent.
