tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Serendipity’s Embrace” (also known as “Is It Fate?”) has unveiled a new poster!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Serendipity’s Embrace” will tell the story of young people finding true love and their dreams after accidentally running into their first love from 10 years ago. Kim So Hyun stars as Lee Hong Joo, an animation producer who is afraid of love due to painful memories from her previous relationship—and who undergoes an unexpected change after running into Kang Hoo Young (Chae Jong Hyeop), who witnessed some of her lowest moments from her past.

The newly released poster summons the heart-fluttering memories of first love. Among the noisy crowd of students, Lee Hong Joo’s eyes sparkle as she confidently hands over a letter to Kang Hoo Young. Kang Hoo Young stares blankly at Lee Hong Joo with a face that is hard to read.

The text that reads, “Back in the day, we were dorky but lovable, clumsy but passionate. Perhaps?” makes viewers curious about how the 19-year-olds’ love story will evolve as adults.

The production team remarked, “Hong Joo and Hoo Young’s first love, which appears to be coincidence-like fate, will bring heart-fluttering excitement and pleasant laughter. From their youthful school days to their reunion at the age of 29, viewers can look forward to the exciting chemistry between Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop, who will recall memories of first love while going back and forth between the past and present time.”

“Serendipity’s Embrace” is set to premiere on July 22 at 8:40 p.m. KST.
