Kim Jae Young and Yoon So Hee will be working together in a new drama!
On January 19, LG U+’s STUDIO X+U announced, “Kim Jae Young and Yoon So Hee have been cast as the main characters of ‘For Sale Because I Broke Up,’ the first episode of the audio drama ‘Sometimes’ [literal title].”
“Sometimes — For Sale Because I Broke Up” is a romance drama that begins when Lee Joo Ah (played by Yoon So Hee) attempts to buy limited-edition couple bracelets from Lee Joon Pyo (played by Kim Jae Young) through a secondhand marketplace website. Lee Joo Ah unexpectedly witnesses her boyfriend cheating on her at the place where she meets seller Lee Joon Pyo, and after the encounter, Lee Joon Pyo can’t help thinking about her because he once had a similar experience.
Kim Jae Young will lend his deep voice to the character of Lee Joon Pyo, a strong-headed person who never does anything he doesn’t want to do. Although he is famous in the industry for being a successful IT developer, he takes a break from everything after breaking up with his girlfriend of three years. His life changes when he meets potential buyer Lee Joo Ah while trying to get rid of items from his previous relationship, and although he is not usually interested in others, he turns warm and affectionate in front of her.
Taking on the role of web novel writer Lee Joo Ah is Yoon So Hee. Lee Joo Ah is someone who can’t say no to other people and whose life motto is “Let’s not be a nuisance to others! Let’s not live an embarrassing life!” She’s always sincere about love and tries her best to be the sweetest girlfriend, as is evident from her effort in successfully finding limited-edition couple bracelets. However, she ends up with heartbreak after witnessing her boyfriend of two years cheating when she’s about to buy the bracelets. Unable to tell even her friends about her problems, Lee Joo Ah finds herself opening up her heart little by little to Lee Joon Pyo, who checks on her daily and asks her if she is okay.
The audio drama “Sometimes — For Sale Because I Broke Up” will be released on U+ Mobile TV, as well as other domestic and international audio platforms, on January 30.
