Dec 9, 2018
SBS’s “My Strange Hero” has released new stills of Yoo Seung Ho caught in an embarrassing situation.
The new Monday-Tuesday drama will tell the story of Kang Bok Soo, who was expelled from school after being accused of bullying and violence. He returns to the school as an adult to exact his revenge, but instead of getting what he hoped for, he finds himself swept up in an unexpected situation.
Yoo Seung Ho takes on the role of Kang Bok Soo, who returns to his high school nine years after being expelled to exact his revenge, and at his side is his close friend and head of the company “Your Wish,” Lee Kyung Hyun, who is played by Kim Dong Young. The two met in school and have maintained a close friendship for nine years, building up a company together.
The new stills show Kang Bok Soo and Lee Kyung Hyun undergoing punishment by having to walk around the field in school in an uncomfortable position. Both had been caught for school dress code violations and were being lectured on it, and when the teacher (Chun Ho Jin) goes to hit Kang Bok Soo over the head with the pole in his hand, Kang Bok Soo fights back and stops him. While the two students are undergoing their punishment, Kang Bok Soo’s pants rip open to expose his underwear, but they are both undeterred by the embarrassing situation as they keep going.
The production staff stated, “Yoo Seung Ho and Kim Dong Young will show a new side that viewers have never seen from them through their characters. Yoo Seung Ho said he let go of everything for this role, and his dedication will shine in the drama. We can confidently say that Yoo Seung Ho and Kim Dong Young will put in performances of a lifetime for this drama.”
SBS’s “My Strange Hero” is set to premiere on December 10 at 10 p.m. KST and will also be available on Dramacool.
