Ha Ji Won’s co-stars in KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Curtain Call” can’t say enough good things about her!
“Curtain Call” is a new drama about an elderly woman from North Korea who doesn’t have much time left to live and a theatre actor who acts as her grandson in order to fulfill her final wish. Kang Ha Neul will star as Yoo Jae Heon, the unknown theatre actor who undertakes a life-changing endeavor, while Ha Ji Won will star as heiress Park Se Yeon, who manages the Nakwon Hotel owned by her grandmother (played by Go Doo Shim).
After she and her two older brothers suddenly lose both their parents at a young age, Park Se Yeon believes herself to be the only person who can take on the responsibility of managing the Nakwon Hotel in the future. In order to prepare herself for the role, Park Se Yeon has worked hard and steadily built up on-site experience at the hotel with a strong sense of duty.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Ha Ji Won exudes both warmth and an aura of leadership as the elegant Park Se Yeon. A consummate professional, Park Se Yeon is not only good at getting her job done, but she is also a gentle leader who is great with people.
Lavishing praise on his co-star, Kang Ha Neul remarked, “With Ha Ji Won, you don’t even need the word ‘chemistry.’ That’s how good she is. She really treats others well and makes them feel truly comfortable. Not only her acting skills, but her beauty and radiant good looks need no words.”
Echoing his sentiments, Go Doo Shim similarly remarked, “This is my first time acting with Ha Ji Won, but she’s truly like a beautiful granddaughter. Because she approached me with a friendly, easygoing charm, I was able to act really comfortably [during filming].”
According to the drama’s production staff, many other members of the cast and crew also named Ha Ji Won as the person who most brightened up the atmosphere on set.
“Curtain Call” premieres on October 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on DramaCool.
