[K-Star]: Seungri has Been Forwarded to Prosecution for 7 Criminal Charges

On June 25th, the Seoul Central District Police revealed that Seungri has been forwarded to the prosecution on a total of seven charges. His charges include solicitation of prostitution and prostitution mediation, occupational embezzlement of 'Burning Sun' funds, occupational embezzlement of attorney’s fees, instigating destruction of evidence, violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes, as well as violation of the Food Sanitation Act.

However, police have dropped the charges regarding prostitution allegations at his birthday party in Palawan, the Philippines, in December 2017, since they concluded that the costs of airfare and hotel fares were not high enough to be suspected of prostitution payment. A representative from the police added, "Only some of the attendees at the party took part in intercourse, not all. In law, this cannot be considered conciliation of prostitution."
