Since her debut with f(x) ten years ago, Krystal has showcased her talents in more ways than one. Today, it is no different, as it has been recently confirmed that the singer will be making her silver screen debut later this year.
A representative from SM Entertainment confirmed that the singer will be making her commercial film debut through Sweet and Sour (literal title). The film will be directed by Lee Gye Byuk, who directed movies such as Cheer Up, Mr. Lee, Luck-Key, and The Beast and the Beauty.
The story follows a man and a woman who fall in love. But after they grow busy over their jobs, they drift apart in terms of body and soul.
According to reports, Krystal is set to play a character that connects the male lead after they land a job together. It is also further noted that Jang Ki Yong and Chae Soo Bin are in talks to take on the leading roles.
Prior to her silver screen debut, Krystal has shown her acting chops through stint in K-Dramas such as The Heirs, My Lovely Girl, Prison Playbook, and most recently The Player
