Kim Soo Hyun joined the army as an active duty soldier in October 2017. At that time, the actor was supposed to be a community service worker because his health was not good. However, Kim Soo Hyun applied for medical examination and decided to serve as a normal duty soldier.

Before being discharged from the army, it was said that the actor received an invitation from several companies to provide commercial service activities. According to insiders, the actor signed a contract with a number of brands to cooperate as soon as he completed his obligations

The actor completed almost all of his duties and was less than a month away from demobilization. Kim Soo Hyun will be discharged on July 1.
