Kan Mi-yeon and Hwang Ba-wool |
Kan Mi-yeon, a former member of K-pop girl band Baby V.O.X, will marry actor Hwang Ba-wool in November.
They have dated for three years. Hwang is three years her junior.
"Please give them many blessings as it's a wedding that will be for the beautiful result of a long relationship," Kan's agency said Monday.
Hwang also revealed his feelings about the wedding.
"It doesn't feel real yet that I would marry," he wrote on his social media account. "During those three years of dating, I felt that her thought is deeper and her heart is warmer than mine. My love for her grew and I started to feel I want to let her become happier. This led me to make this decision of the marriage."
Kan debuted as a member of Baby V.O.X in 1997 and has been much loved. She has released solo albums "Going Crazy," "Paparazzi" and others. She moved into acting and has appeared in dramas including "Kill Me Heal Me," "Moorim School" and "Missing."
