[K-Drama]: Lee Seung Gi and Suzy's blockbuster 'Vagabond' are at risk of flop because of acting controversy

After many days of waiting, the drama "Vagabond" starring Lee Seung Gi, Bae Suzy, Shin Sung Rok, ... aired the first two episodes on September 20 and 21. But contrary to the expectations of the audience, the film encountered many mixed opinions surrounding the acting of the main actors.

"Vagabond" is the story of stuntman Cha Dal Gun (Lee Seung Gi), who accidentally gets caught up in a conspiracy to kill his relatives. Along with Dal Gun on the way to find the truth, there is the help of female agent of "National Intelligence Service" Go Hae Ri (Bae Suzy). Despite the extremely attractive plot, after the first two episodes, the audience realized that the role of Go Hae Ri was too much for a person who lacked experience in acting like Suzy.

The one-color expression, lack of flexibility and not really making much progress after previous films have led the actress to receive criticism from viewers watching the radio. The lack of emotional monologues is also part of the audience can not feel the charm of the role. Most people think that her character expression is still quite awkward and does not match a heavy-duty action movie like this. Viewers appreciate Suzy's beauty and beautiful images but do not include acting skills.

Not only Suzy, but also Lee Seung Gi received some criticism in the way the character was expressed, such as shouting too much to express pain or emotions. True, he is conveying the pain of losing a loved one and the impatience to investigate the truth, but every few minutes, screaming once accidentally distracts the viewer.

The first 2 episodes mainly clarified the resentment of Cha Dal Gun's character, resulting in his determination to find out the truth. It seems that the scriptwriter is too focused on depicting the loss and past of the male lead but forgetting the presence of the supporting characters, leading to the boring rhythm in some episodes. The way the producer divided Vagabond into three parts for broadcast also annoyed the audience because the surging emotional circuit was broken again.

Although there are quite a lot of mixed reviews around the film, "Vagabond" has many advantages such as beautiful footage, elaborate action scenes and investment. In terms of images, the film really created a sympathy for many fans. Until now, "Vagabond" has only played 2 episodes, so it is impossible to conclude whether the drama will become the "bomb" as expected or not.
