[K-Drama]: Lee Dong Gun starred in the remake in 'Leverage'

On July 5, FNC Entertainment, Lee Dong Gun's management company, confirmed that the actor is negotiating for the lead role of a remake of the American television series.

The representative of the management company said, Lee Dong Gun has received an invitation to cast for Korean drama Leverage and he is currently considering this offer very positively. Leverage is screened from 2008 to 2012 in the United States, following a former insurance investigator who led a group of thieves and fraudsters to entice similar people.

Lee Dong Gun was invited to play the lead role, a former insurance investigator (played by Timothy Hutton in the original series). The upcoming remake will be directed by Nam Ki Hoon, the production director behind Voice 3.
