[K-Drama]: Cha Eun Woo, Shin Se Kyung, And More Gather For First Script Reading Of New Historical Drama

“Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” is a fictional historical drama set in the Joseon Dynasty in the 19th century that tells the story of women who were frowned upon for writing historical records. The drama will fight against outdated prejudice on the basis of gender and social status and show the value of change.

 

In attendance at the script reading were directors Kang Il Soo and Han Hyun Hee, writer Kim Ho Soo, and actors including Shin Se Kyung, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, Park Ki Woong, and Lee Ji Hoon.

 

Before the script reading begin, Kang Il Soo said, “I will try to create a production environment where everyone can enjoy participating. There are a lot of rookie actors, so please show more interest in them, and even if they are lacking, please show your support for them. If you want to go quickly, go alone, but if you want to go far, let’s go together. Let’s do our best until it’s over.”

"Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” is scheduled to air via MBC at 9 p.m. KST on Mondays and Tuesdays starting in mid-July.
