“Squid Game” star Jung Ho Yeon will be starring in a Hollywood film!

On April 7, her agency Saram Entertainment announced, “Jung Ho Yeon has been cast to play a lead role in ‘The Governesses,’ which will be directed by Joe Talbot.”

The film is based on a novel of the same name released in 2018 by French writer Anne Serre. According to Deadline, it will depict the story of “three rebellious governesses who upend the household they work in – inspiriting the minds of the boys in their care, igniting the imaginations of the bohemian couple who employ them and abandoning their charges for erotic adventures.” Jung Ho Yeon, Lily-Rose Depp and Renate Reinsve will play the three governesses.

Lily-Rose Depp is the daughter of Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis, and she has starred in various acting projects including “The Dancer” and “Wolf.” Renate Reinsve was recognized for her acting skills at the Cannes Film Festival last year when she won the Best Actress award for her leading role in “The Worst Person in the World.”

Joe Talbot is an award-winning filmmaker who previously directed “American Paradise” and “The Last Black Man in San Francisco.”

Last month, it was also confirmed that Jung Ho Yeon will be appearing in the new Apple TV+ series “Disclaimer” by acclaimed director Alfonso Cuarón.
