The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from June 2 to July 2.
tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” topped the list with a brand reputation index of 4,702,624, marking a 16.26 percent rise in its score since June. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “200th episode” and “Yoo Jae Suk,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “talk,” “relate,” and “appear.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 86.25 percent positive reactions.
SBS’s “Running Man” came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 4,690,694, marking a 23.75 percent increase in its score since last month.
MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) took third place with a brand reputation index of 4,420,172, marking an 8.40 percent rise in its score since June.
SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” held onto its spot at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,810,609, marking a 23.91 percent increase in its score since last month.
Finally, JTBC’s “Win or Nothing” (“Strongest Baseball”) rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,527,877, marking a 33.84 percent rise in its score.
