Joo Jong Hyuk And Bae Yoon Kyung Confirmed To Star In New KBS Drama Special

Joo Jong Hyuk and Bae Yoon Kyung will be starring in a new KBS Drama Special titled “Do You Know Ashtanga?” (literal title).

The KBS Drama Special is an annual collection of short-form dramas that are one or two episodes each. “Do You Know Ashtanga?” is a rom-com that will be about a yoga instructor, who is as twisted as can be after going through the ups and downs of a world full of discontent, as she meets the son of a building owner who isn’t twisted in the slightest and practices the idea of noblesse oblige.

Joo Jong Hyuk will be taking on the role of Seol Tae Joon, a building owner’s son who is thoughtful and considerate and isn’t twisted in the slightest. Previously, Joo Jong Hyuk impressed in “D.P.,” “Happiness,” and “Yumi’s Cells.” Most recently, he captivated viewers through his performance in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” raising anticipation for his next project.

Having showcased her skilled acting in numerous projects including “Unicorn,” “The King’s Affection,” “Undercover,” “Record of Youth,” “Hi Bye, Mama!” and more, Bae Yoon Kyung will be taking on the role of Kang Na Ra, a yoga instructor who hates so many things that people wonder if there is anything she actually likes. However, Kang Na Ra is sincere when it comes to Ashtanga yoga, making viewers excited for how Bae Yoon Kyung will portray her realistic character who has become hardened by life.

2022 KBS Drama Special will start airing in October.
