Jo Yoon Hee In Talks To Appear In 1st Drama After Becoming A Mom

Jo Yoon Hee may soon be returning to the small screen!

On June 26, King Kong by Starship told Korean media outlet Newsen, “Jo Yoon Hee has received an offer to appear in KBS 2TV’s new weekend drama ‘Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful’ [literal title] as Kim Seol Ah and is reviewing the offer with a favorable outlook.”

If Jo Yoon Hee were to accept the offer, it would be the actress’s first drama since marrying actor Lee Dong Gun in September 2017 and giving birth to her first child in December 2017. She most recently appeared in the KBS 2TV drama “Laurel Tree Tailors,” which ended in February 2017, and she is currently appearing as an MC on KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together.”

“Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful” is a drama about a cold man who doesn’t believe in marriage and a female student who has given up on dating, marriage, and having children while preparing to take the civil service exam. The upcoming romantic comedy is already gaining attention for being different from the typical KBS weekend drama.

This new series will be penned by writer Bae Yoo Mi, whose previous works include “Happy Together,” “Beyond the Clouds,” “Romance,” “The Scandal,” “Twinkle Twinkle,” “Should We Kiss First,” and “I Have a Lover.”

“Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful” is scheduled to begin airing in September, following the conclusion of “Mother of Mine.”
