Jo Byeong Gyu and iKON’s Junhoe’s highly-anticipated film “Again 1997” has finally unveiled its first set of posters!
“Again 1997” is a youth fantasy movie that unfolds when a man whose life is filled with regret, obtains five talismans that transport him back to his high school days in 1997—the best time of his life—just moments before his death.
On February 20, it was officially announced that “Again 1997” is slated for release in March. Alongside this announcement, the movie released two captivating new posters, featuring the intriguing captions “I want to go back” and “If you could go back, are you sure you’d do better?” teasing the time-travel theme of the movie.
In addition to its central theme of time travel, the film seamlessly blends elements of fantasy, friendships, unexpected plot twists, thrilling action, and romance, resulting in a rich and multifaceted genre. It also delivers a poignant message, prompting viewers to ponder, “If you could live your life again, would you change your past?”
Jo Byeong Gyu will take on the role of Woo Seok, a mischievous high schooler who conceals the soul of a 40-year-old middle-aged man within.
iKON’s Junhoe will portray Bong Gyun, Woo Seok’s best friend and a die-hard fan of “Slam Dunk.”
Completing the lively trio is Choi Hee Seung as Ji Sung, a cheerful and loyal friend known for his playful antics, rounding out the dynamic ensemble.
Rookie actress Han Eun Soo will star as Ji Min, a pivotal figure in Wooseok’s future, having been his junior in the theater club and his first love.
Joining this talented young cast are veteran actors Park Cheol Min, Lee Mi Do, and Kim Da Hyun, who will add depth and richness to the drama.
