SBS’s “Connection” has released new stills of Jeon Mi Do!

“Connection” is a new crime thriller starring Ji Sung as Jang Jae Kyung, a well-respected detective who is the ace of the narcotics unit. The drama is a collaboration between director Lee Tae Gon and writer Lee Hyun, who previously worked together for JTBC’s “Diary of a Prosecutor.”

Jeon Mi Do stars in the drama as Oh Yoon Jin, an opinionated and outspoken reporter in the social affairs department of Anhyun Economic Daily. She is someone who cannot stand injustice, regardless of the person’s rank, and has come to realize that money is the greatest thing in life.

In the first two episodes of “Connection,” Oh Yoon Jin displayed various sides of her strong personality, from blatantly demanding money to being a doting mother concerned about her daughter and showing keen insight into a new drug-related death case she witnessed.

The newly released stills give a glimpse of Oh Yoon Jin’s maternal and affectionate side. When Oh Yoon Jin encounters a child who lost her mother due to a new type of illegal drug, she cautiously approaches the dejected child, speaks softly, and gently strokes the child’s head. She listens intently to the child’s words, with tears welling up in her eyes. It remains to be seen how this display of maternal love from the seemingly self-centered Oh Yoon Jin will impact her pursuit of the truth about the drug case.

In order to perfect the scene, Jeon Mi Do, who is playing a mother in a drama for the first time through “Connection,” spent time with the child actor on set before filming to build a rapport. As a result, the child actor became relaxed and was able to perform the challenging emotional scene smoothly.
