January Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced (from December 6, 2022 to January 6, 2023.)

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from December 6, 2022 to January 6, 2023.

TV Chosun’s hit audition show “Mister Trot 2” topped the list with a brand reputation index of 14,330,990. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “audition” and “ratings,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “record,” “surpass,” and “break [a record].” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.07 percent positive reactions.

Second place went to another trot audition show, MBN’s “Fire Trot,” which earned a brand reputation index of 9,968,789 for January.

Meanwhile, SBS’s “Running Man” took third place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 5,117,512.

MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 4,749,641, while “I Am Solo” rounded out the top five with a total score of 3,620,311.
