The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from December 8, 2022 to January 8, 2023.
NewJeans topped the list for the second consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 7,299,275, marking a 36.13 percent increase in their score since December.
High-ranking phrases in NewJeans’ keyword analysis included “OMG,” “Ditto,” and “YouTube,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “record,” and “sweep.” The rookie girl group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 86.90 percent positive reactions.
BLACKPINK held onto their spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,181,277, marking a 21.04 percent rise in their score since last month.
IVE climbed to third place in the rankings after seeing an impressive 60.26 percent increase in their brand reputation index since December. The group’s total score for January came out to 3,208,974.
LE SSERAFIM came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 3,127,082, marking a 41.20 percent rise in their score since December.
Finally, TWICE rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,917,991 for January.
