SBS’s “Good Partner” is finally returning from its three-week hiatus!

Written by an actual divorce attorney, “Good Partner” is a drama that depicts the humorous struggles of two very different divorce lawyers: Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), a star lawyer for whom divorce is her calling, and Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), a rookie lawyer who is still new to divorce.

On the previous episode of “Good Partner,” Cha Eun Kyung and Han Yu Ri went after Kim Ji Sang (Ji Seung Hyun) by accusing him and Choi Sa Ra (Han Jae Yi) of de facto bigamy. But just as it seemed they had gained the upper hand in the couple’s bitter divorce battle, Cha Eun Kyung was furious to learn that Choi Sa Ra had approached her daughter and taken her out of school.

In newly released stills from the drama’s long-awaited next episode, Cha Eun Kyung and Han Yu Ri put up a tough fight in the courtroom on the first day of their trial. As Cha Eun Kyung sits beside Han Yu Ri with a stiff expression, Kim Ji Sang’s divorce attorney Kang Sang Joo (Kim Byung Choon) looks relaxed and entirely at ease arguing with her.

Another set of stills captures a tense face-off between Cha Eun Kyung and Choi Sa Ra, who brazenly shows not an ounce of guilt or remorse. As if unable to believe what she’s hearing, Cha Eun Kyung stares back at the insolent Choi Sa Ra with an expression of amused incredulity.

The “Good Partner” production team teased, “In Episode 6, Cha Eun Kyung and Kim Ji Sang will fight for custody of their daughter Kim Jae Hee. The fierce divorce battle will unfold in an exciting way.”

They added, “Please also look forward to Jang Nara’s emotional acting as she portrays [Cha Eun Kyung’s] guilt over hurting her daughter, as well as her rage towards Kim Ji Sang and CHoi Sa Ra.”

The next episode of “Good Partner” will air on August 16 at 10 p.m. KST.
