JTBC’s “The Atypical Family” is a fantasy romance drama about a family that once had supernatural powers, but lost them after suffering from realistic modern-day problems.

On the previous episode of “The Atypical Family,” Bok Gwi Joo (Jang Ki Yong) made a romantic proposal to Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee), saying she was included in the family that he wanted to put his life on the line to protect. The episode then ended with them sharing a heart-stopping kiss.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Do Da Hae returns to the Bok family home, where she and Bok Gwi Joo share a blissful moment lying in bed together. Bok Gwi Joo rests his head on Do Da Hae’s arm, and the two can’t seem to stop smiling as they gaze into each other’s eyes.

However, Bok Gwi Joo’s bliss may be short-lived. In the next set of photos, a distraught Bok Gwi Joo is frantically searching for something when Bok Yi Na (Park So Yi) desperately grabs him by the arm. His expression then turns shocked as he listens to what his daughter has to say.

The drama’s production team commented, “In Episode 10, which airs today, a shocking incident will take place that Bok Gwi Joo could never have imagined. What kind of incident will cause Bok Gwi Joo to crumble once again after he [briefly] enjoyed perfect happiness? And what future is it that Bok Man Heum saw? Please tune in to find out.”
