IVE Becomes 1st Idol Group To Reach No. 1 On Melon’s Top 100 With 3 Different Songs In 2023

IVE has swept the Korean music charts with their latest hit!

On October 30, IVE’s latest title track “Baddie” soared to No. 1 on Melon’s Top 100 chart, making it IVE’s third song to top the chart in 2023.

As of 10 p.m. KST on October 31, “Baddie” had swept the No. 1 spot on all of Korea’s major realtime charts—Melon, Bugs, Genie, and FLO—as well as YouTube Music Korea’s Top Songs chart.

Notably, IVE is the only idol group to reach No. 1 on Melon’s Top 100 with three different songs this year. The group previously topped the chart with “Kitsch” and “I AM,” both of which went on to score perfect all-kills on the Korean charts.

Meanwhile, not only are IVE’s other title tracks “Either Way” and “Off The Record” still ranking high on the domestic realtime charts, but as of 10 p.m. KST on October 31, IVE was charting a whopping eight songs on Melon’s Top 100. In addition to “Baddie,” “Either Way,” and “Off The Record,” their older hits “I AM,” “Kitsch,” “After LIKE,” “LOVE DIVE,” and “I WANT” are all still going strong in the Top 100.
