IU's side reveals she is considering a role in new drama by the Hong siblings

According to reports on December 4, singer/actress IU has been offered a role in a new drama series written by star scriptwriter siblings, the Hong siblings (Hong Jung Eun, Hong Mi Ran).

IU's side responded to the reports with, "It's true that IU received an offer for Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran's new production. However, we are currently reviewing various drama scripts including this script in question, and nothing is confirmed."

The Hong siblings are known for their drama hits including 'You're Beautiful', 'My Girlfriend Is A Nine-Tailed Fox', 'Master's Sun', and most recently, 'A Korean Odyssey'. Meanwhile back in October, a similar report surfaced stating that actress Jun Ji Hyun had received an offer for the Hong siblings' newest production.
