Lee Na Young’s upcoming drama has confirmed its main cast and broadcast details!
Upcoming Wavve original drama “Travel Diary of Park Ha Kyung” (literal translation) depicts the eight travel stories of Park Ha Kyung (Lee Na Young), a high school language arts teacher who goes on one-day trips on Saturdays that are full of unexpected yet unforgettable moments.
Throughout Park Ha Kyung’s eight different trips, she will encounter a wide variety of faces. Lee Na Young will be joined by Shim Eun Kyung, who starred in “Sunny” and “Miss Granny,” and became the first Korean to win Best Actress at the 2020 Japanese Academy Awards for her role in “The Journalist.” The drama also stars Cho Hyun Chul, who impressed in “Hotel Del Luna” and “D.P.,” as well as Han Ye Ri, who starred in “Minari,” “Hello, My Twenties,” and “My Unfamiliar Family.”
The drama’s additional cast members include Goo Kyo Hwan of “D.P.,” “Peninsula,” and “Escape from Mogadishu,” and Gil Hae Yeon, who appeared in “Something in the Rain” and “Trolley.” They’re joined by Park Se Wan of “Alice, the Final Weapon” and “Life is Beautiful,” and veteran actor Park In Hwan who received tons of love for his role in “Navillera.” Also joining the cast is Seo Hyun Woo, who has recently starred in films “Decision to Leave” and “Phantom.” Additionally, singer-songwriter Sunwoojunga and fashion model Shin Hyun Ji will be making their acting debuts in the upcoming drama.
“Travel Diary of Park Ha Kyung” is Lee Na Young’s return to the small screen four years after starring in tvN’s “Romance Is a Bonus Book” and the first drama by Lee Jong Pil, who directed the film “Samjin Company English Class.”
Later this year, “Travel Diary of Park Ha Kyung” will air eight 25-minute-long episodes.
