On March 19, the Korean newspaper reported that actor Sung Dong Il, actress Ha Ji Won and actress Kim Yunjin confirmed their participation in the movie project called Collateral (담보). The film's content is set in Incheon, South Korea in 1993; The focus is that Doo Seok (Sung Dong Il) works as a debt collector. Doo Seok looks scary, but he really has a warm heart.

One day, Doo Seok went to see Myung Ja (Kim Yunjin) to collect his debt. Myung Ja is an illegal immigrant and she was expelled from Korea. Unexpectedly, Myung Ja gave little daughter Seung Yi (Park So Yi) to Doo Seok as collateral. Since then, Doo Seok became Seung Yi's guardian until the present Seung Yi (Ha Ji Won) has grown up.

 

Collateral will be directed by Kang Dae Kyu, director of Harmony (2010) and planned to be released in the final months of 2019.
