GOT7’s Youngjae is set to make his return to the small screen for the first time in three years!
Following the initial report of his casting, Youngjae’s agency AndBut Company confirmed on July 24 that he will star in the upcoming drama “Friendly Rivalry” (literal title). The drama boasts a cast lineup including Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, Chung Su Bin, Kang Hye Won, and Oh Woo Ri.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Friendly Rivalry” is a mystery thriller drama that delves into the intense relationships and fierce competition among teenage girls at Chaehwa Girls’ High School, a school for the top one percent.
While the specific role Youngjae will take has not been disclosed yet, this marks his first drama in three years since “So Not Worth It” and “Love & Wish,” which both aired in 2021.
Having debuted as part of the seven-member group GOT7 in 2014, Youngjae has showcased his acting talents through various dramas, and his latest digital single “T.P.O” continues to garner international attention.
