Golden Child’s Joochan To Temporarily Halt Activities Due To Injury

Golden Child’s Joochan will be temporarily halting all activities due to an injury.

On December 28, Woollim Entertainment shared an official statement on Joochan’s status. It reads as follows:

Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.

First, we wish to thank all the fans who show their love for Golden Child, and we wish to notify you that member Joochan will be temporary halting all activities.

While rehearsing choreography recently, Joochan suffered an injury in his leg left and visited the hospital to check on it. There, he learned that he had suffered an injury in his knee ligament, and he is currently focusing on receiving treatment and resting.

As we believe that our artists’s health comes before all else, we have spoken with Joochan, his family, and the medical staff before coming to the decision to temporarily halt his activities.

Therefore, Joochan will unfortunately be sitting out of all future scheduled activities, including year-end events, and per the doctor’s recommendation, he will be focusing on treatment and recovery for the time being.

We ask for your understanding. Thank you.

We hope that Joochan rests well and is able to return to the stage soon after a full recovery!
