Go Doo Shim and Noh Sang Hyun will share a dramatic reunion on the next episode of “Curtain Call”!
“Curtain Call” is a KBS drama about an elderly hotelier from North Korea who doesn’t have much time left to live and a theatre actor who acts as her grandson in order to fulfill her final wish. Kang Ha Neul stars as Yoo Jae Heon, the unknown theatre actor who undertakes a life-changing endeavor, while Ha Ji Won stars as heiress Park Se Yeon, who manages the Nakwon Hotel owned by her grandmother Ja Geum Soon (played by Go Doo Shim).
Previously on “Curtain Call,” Ja Geum Soon was unable to forget about the family she’d left behind in North Korea despite her successful and enviable life in South Korea. After spending years heartbroken and tormented by the thought of her son and grandson, Ja Geum Soon was led to believe that she had finally reunited with her grandson at long last.
Meanwhile, as Yoo Jae Heon pretended to be Ja Geum Soon’s long-lost grandson, her real grandson Ri Moon Sung (Noh Sang Hyun)—who blamed his grandmother for the pain she caused him and his father—managed to sneak into South Korea through China.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Ja Geum Soon and Ri Moon Sung finally meet again. Years after their first encounter, Ri Moon Sung suddenly appears before Ja Geum Soon as she sits alone in a cafe by the seaside.
After he approaches his grandmother and takes a seat, Ri Moon Sung makes an effort to maintain his composure as he starts up a serious conversation. Meanwhile, Ja Geum Soon looks shocked by what Ri Moon Sung has to say to her.
To find out what Ri Moon Sung tells his grandmother—and how their reunion will affect the rest of their family—tune in to the next episode of “Curtain Call” on December 6 at 9:50 p.m. KST!
