Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon To Collaborate With Yoon Jong Shin
Mar 25, 2019
Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will finally be featuring in a project by producer and singer-songwriter Yoon Jong Shin!
Yoon Jong Shin has recruited a lineup of artists born in 1989 for his project to mark his 30 year debut anniversary. Each artist will be releasing remakes of classic songs that are now 30 years old. The project is in partnership with the fashion brand Beanpole, which was established in 1989.
Yoon Jong Shin is first up for the project in March, followed by Busker Busker’s Jang Beom Jun in April, Taeyeon in May, and Urban Zakapa in June. He describes it as a “supplement” to his famous project of monthly releases.
Many fans have been hoping for a collaboration between Taeyeon and Yoon Jong Shin one day, and so have the artists. Back in 2014, Taeyeon named Yoon Jong Shin as a composer she wanted to work with. Yoon Jong Shin wrote his 2017 song “Forgetful” with Taeyeon in mind (even using the working title ‘Taeyeon Ballad’) but the collaboration wasn’t able to happen then.
Are you excited for these upcoming songs?
