(G)I-DLE has completely dominated the Korean music charts with their viral B-side “Fate”!
On March 26 at 9:30 a.m. KST, Instiz’s iChart officially announced that (G)I-DLE’s latest hit “Fate” had scored a perfect all-kill after sweeping the top spot on Korea’s major domestic music charts.
(G)I-DLE has now tied TWICE and IVE’s record for the girl group with the most songs to achieve perfect all-kills. All three groups have now scored perfect all-kills with four different songs: before “Fate,” (G)I-DLE previously achieved the feat with “TOMBOY,” “Nxde,” and “Queencard.”
While (G)I-DLE did not originally promote “Fate” on music shows during their comeback promotions for their latest album “2,” the song unexpectedly began climbing up the music charts weeks after its initial release, leading (G)I-DLE to return to music shows last week to perform the song.
A song is awarded a certified all-kill when it is No. 1 on the daily and Top 100 charts of Melon, the daily and realtime charts of Genie and Bugs, YouTube Music’s Top Songs chart, VIBE’s daily chart, and the realtime charts of FLO and iChart. A perfect all-kill means the song has also topped iChart’s weekly chart.
Congratulations to (G)I-DLE!
