“Extreme Job” Surpasses 3 Million Moviegoers A Day After Reaching 2 Million

Film “Extreme Job” is a box office hit!
According to the Korean Film Council, “Extreme Job” reached 3,001,050 moviegoers as of 6:58 p.m. KST on January 27.
Just one day after recording 2 million moviegoers, the film drew in 909,806 people and exceeded 3 million moviegoers.
According to film distributor CJ Entertainment, “Extreme Job” has reached 3 million moviegoers at a faster rate than the previous No. 1 comedy film “Miracle in Cell No.7.” It has also beat films that reached 10 million moviegoers such as “Veteran” and “The Thieves” which took six days, as well as “The Attorney” which took eight days to achieve the 3 million milestone.
The cast—Honey Lee, Gong Myung, Lee Dong Hwi, Ryu Seung Ryong, and Jin Sun Kyu—and director Lee Byung Heon thanked viewers for their support with adorable selfies.
“Extreme Job” is a comedy film about a drug task force that opens a fake chicken restaurant as a front for their undercover operations and the humorous incidents that occur when the restaurant unexpectedly becomes a popular eatery.
