EXO’s Chanyeol Confirmed To Star In Yoon Kye Sang And Go Min Si’s Upcoming Drama “The Frog”

EXO’s Chanyeol will be starring in a new drama!

On February 7, a media outlet reported that Chanyeol will star in the upcoming Netflix series “The Frog.”

In response to the report, SM Entertainment shared, “It is true that Chanyeol will star in the Netflix series ‘The Frog.'”

“The Frog” is a mystery thriller that tells the story of two pension owners who live in different timelines: Gu Sang Jun (Yoon Kye Sang), who runs a motel in the past, and Jeon Yeong Ha (Kim Yun Seok), who runs a pension in the present. When similar incidents occur to each man, the two make completely different decisions. The drama also stars Go Min Si and Lee Jung Eun.

Chanyeol is reportedly playing a mysterious character who is crucial to the storyline.

Chanyeol made his acting debut through the film “Salut d’Amour” in 2015 and appeared in various films including “Missing 9,” “The Box,” and the Chinese version of “So I Married My Anti-Fan.” Chanyeol is returning to the small screen for the first time in six years since starring in “Memories of the Albambra.”
