Dex In Talks To Star In New Drama Based On Webtoon

Dex may be making his acting debut soon!

On October 26, Sports Chosun reported that Dex is set to make his first foray into the world of acting by appearing in the upcoming drama “i Shopping” (literal title).

In response to the report, a representative from Dex’s agency shared, “Dex has received an offer to star in ‘i Shopping’ and is positively reviewing the offer.”

Based on a Kakao webtoon of the same name, “i Shopping” is an action thriller that depicts the survival and revenge story of an abandoned adopted child. The story revolves around the emergence of an “adoption broker organization” that supplies children to those seeking secret adoptions and is even willing to remove children upon a “refund” request. The story unfolds as Tae Shik, once a part of this organization, tries to save these “refunded” children.

Details about Dex’s specific role in the drama have yet to be disclosed.

Dex initially gained recognition through the YouTube military training program “Fake Men.” Following this, he rapidly rose to stardom and has starred in Netflix’s “Single’s Inferno 2” and “Zombieverse,” Wavve’s “Game Of Blood,” and more. Currently, the third season of his variety show alongside Kian 84 “Adventure by Accident” is gearing up for release.
