‘Descendants Of The sun’ actor Jin Goo tests COVID-19 positive

South Korean actor Jin Goo becomes the latest celebrity who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 recently.


On Tuesday, the actor’s agency confirmed that Jin Goo has recently tested positive for the deadly and revealed he has been following all safety measures to receive his treatment in isolation.

Soompi quoted the agency, “Last month, he received notice that he had been in close contact with a confirmed case. After he tested positive, he has been following the measures given by the disease control authorities. At the time he was tested, he had no symptoms, and he continues to be asymptomatic now. He is in good health.”
On the work front, Jin Goo made his acting debut in the Korean entertainment industry in 2003 in both small and big screen projects. However, it’s Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo starrer ‘Descendants Of The Sun’ that made him widely popular among the audience.

Jin Goo was last seen in the 2019 K-Drama ‘Legal High.’ He also appeared in the Korean film ‘You’re So Precious To Me’ this year.
