“Decision to Leave” has snagged a nomination for this year’s Critics Choice Awards!
This week, the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards announced its film nominations. (The television nominations were revealed earlier this month, when both “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and “Pachinko” earned nods for Best Foreign Language Series.)
“Decision to Leave” has been nominated for Best Foreign Language Film alongside “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Argentina, 1985,” “Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths,” and “Close.”
“Parasite” won the Critics Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2020, while “Minari” took home the trophy in 2021.
“Decision to Leave” was also recently nominated for Best Motion Picture (Non-English Language) at the upcoming Golden Globe Awards. Additionally, Park Chan Wook won Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival for the movie, which also took home six awards—including Best Picture—at this year’s Blue Dragon Film Awards.
The 28th annual Critics Choice Awards will air live on January 15, 2023 at 7 p.m. ET.
