The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from November 4 to December 4.
SBS’s “Running Man” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,583,697, marking a 6.20 percent rise in its score since November.
High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “BTS’s Jin,” “Yoo Jae Suk,” and “Jo Se Ho,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “appear,” “rise,” and “solve.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 81.69 percent positive reactions.
MBC’s “How Do You Play?” rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 4,462,590, marking a 32.43 percent increase in its score since last month.
JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” (“Ask Us Anything”) came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 4,436,583, marking a 12.95 percent rise in its score since November.
Finally, MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) and SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” rounded out the top five for December at fourth and fifth places respectively.
