Choi Woo Shik may be stepping into a lead role in an exciting new project soon!

On August 7, it was reported that Choi Woo Shik has been cast as the lead in the upcoming drama “The Waking” (working title) and will begin filming shortly.

In response to the report, a representative from Choi Woo Shik’s agency FABLE COMPANY stated, “It is one of the projects he has been offered and is currently reviewing.”

“The Waking” explores the intriguing story of an organization tasked with managing giants and another that opposes them. The series is the latest project by director Kim Tae Gon, known for his recent film “Project Silence.”

Choi Woo Shik has been offered the role of Jun Ho, a character who lives diligently while working in a cold storage facility. His life takes a dramatic turn when he discovers a stone that grants immense power, causing his body to grow enormous and transforming him into a giant who infiltrates the organization.
