KBS 2TV’s “Iron Family” has unveiled a glimpse of Choi Tae Joon and Jo Mi Ryung’s tense first meeting!
“Iron Family” is a “romantic black comedy” about a family that has run a laundry business for three generations. Geum Sae Rok stars as Lee Da Rim, the youngest daughter of the Cheongryeom Laundry family, who suffers from a rare illness that progressively narrows her vision. Kim Jung Hyun plays Seo Kang Joo, an executive director at Jiseung Group, who belongs to the richest family in the Cheongryeom neighborhood.
Previously on “Iron Family,” Cha Tae Woong (Choi Tae Joon) quickly packed his bags and flew to the United States after hearing that his birth mother was critically ill. When they didn’t hear from him, the Cheongryeom Laundry began to worry about Tae Woong—but the episode ended with him on his way back to Korea in a business class seat.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Tae Woong meets his biological mother No Ae Ri (Jo Mi Ryung) for the first time. In contrast to Tae Woong, who angrily glares at the mother that abandoned him, Ae Ri wears a cheerful smile as she greets her son.
The utterly relaxed Ae Ri then catches Tae Woong off guard by making him an unexpected offer that’s hard to refuse. Despite his hostility towards her, Tae Woong hesitates after hearing her proposal. What sort of scheme is Ae Ri plotting—and will Tae Woong agree to go along with it?
To find out why Ae Ri called Tae Woong all the way to the United States—and how Tae Woong will change from here on out—catch the next episode of “Iron Family” on November 17 at 8 p.m. KST!
