tvN’s “See You in My 19th Life” has shared a sneak peek of Chae Jong Hyeop’s upcoming special appearance!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “See You in My 19th Life” is a new fantasy romance starring Shin Hye Sun as Ban Ji Eum, a woman who has been repeatedly reincarnated for nearly a thousand years and remembers all of her past lives. After her 18th life is tragically cut short, Ban Ji Eum decides that in her 19th life, she will do everything she can to find a man named Moon Seo Ha (Ahn Bo Hyun) that she met in her 18th life.

This past weekend, “See You in My 19th Life” thrilled viewers when brief flashbacks to Ban Ji Eum’s past lives included glimpses of Chae Jong Hyeop, revealing that the actor would be making a surprise appearance in the drama.

On June 21, “See You in My 19th Life” released new stills of Chae Jong Hyeop’s highly-anticipated cameo as Ban Ji Eum in her 16th life. Back in her 16th life, Ban Ji Eum was reincarnated as Bok Dong, who lived during the Japanese occupation of Korea. Bok Dong’s dream was simple: to live happily while meeting the person he loved.

However, the new stills suggest that tragedy lies ahead for the unfortunate Bok Dong. Although he initially wears a broad smile while carrying flowers on his way to meet someone, his expression soon takes a dark turn as he looks sadly at something on the ground.
