In a heartwarming show of support, Cha Tae Hyun will be making a special appearance in his close friend Jang Hyuk’s upcoming drama!

“Family” is a new tvN drama starring Jang Hyuk as Kwon Do Hoon, a secret agent for the National Intelligence Service (NIS) who is undercover as an ordinary office worker. Jang Nara will star as Kwon Do Hoon’s sweet but fierce wife Kang Yu Ra, who dreams of having a perfect family—but is hiding a big secret.

Cha Tae Hyun, who is famous for his longtime friendship with Jang Hyuk, will be appearing in the drama’s first episode as the owner of a bakery. Having been in business for a long time, Cha Tae Hyun’s character is well-acquainted with everyone in the neighborhood, and he knows all the juicy gossip about the residents.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming premiere, Cha Tae Hyun expertly sprinkles a tart with powdered sugar as Jang Hyuk’s character Kwon Do Hoon stops by to pick up a cake that he hopes will appease his angry wife. Despite being busy with his work, Cha Tae Hyun’s character still finds time to scold Kwon Do Hoon with some scathing—but brutally accurate—remarks.
