Celebrity Donations Continue To Pour In To Aid Relief Efforts For Victims Of Gangwon Province Fire

Celebrities are continuing to donate to aid relief efforts for the victims of the devastating Gangwon Province fire. The fire, which began on April 4, ravaged approximately 1,760 hectares of land (6.8 square miles), destroying hundreds of homes and causing extensive property damage across the region.
In the latest round of donations, many celebrities contributed to the efforts of the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association: Park Seo Joon (100 million won), Jang Geun Suk (100 million won), Jung Hye Sung (10 million won), Davichi’s Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung (10 million won each), Hwang Chi Yeol (20 million won), Lee Da Hee (10 million won), Ivy (20 million won).
2PM’s Jun.K and Wooyoung, both currently serving in the military, also donated 50 million won each to the Hope Bridge Association.
TVXQ’s Yunho and Jun Hyun Moo donated 30 and 50 million won respectively to the Community Chest of Korea, while Song Seung Heon donated 50 million won to relief efforts through the Salvation Army. Kim Jaekyung gave 5 million won through the W-Foundation.
X Japan’s Yoshiki, after hearing that his friend Lee Byung Hun had donated, also contributed 100 million won through ChildFund Korea. Lee Byung Hun thanked the artist in an Instagram post:
