Call It Love episode 13 starts with Woo-joo feeling overwhelmed with the whole situation happening inside the karaoke. Inside, Hae-sung tells Dong-jin about how their family is very closed off emotionally and thus, they spend time together when one of them feels sad so that no one has to be alone during a hard time. She also mentions that, in that regard, he fits into their family.
When it comes time for them to part ways, Hyun-ju seems to have really warmed up to Dong-jin and invites him for dinner the next day. Unfortunately, he has a business trip to attend to but promises to meet her soon at home. The confession makes Woo-joo and Jun a little uncomfortable since they are the only two people who know the truth about Dong-jin’s background.

After walking down a bit, Dong-jin remembers that he forgot to give Woo-joo her bag and asks her to wait for him so that he can give it back to her. She chooses to rush back, which upsets Jun, and Hae-sung catches his apprehension. She asks him about it, and although he tries to brush past it, he isn’t able to and ends up telling Hae-sung everything.
Meanwhile, Dong-jin and Woo-joo meet up for the bag, and she tells him not to worry about her leaving work too much. He, in turn, tells her that he actually didn’t care about the bag back then; he just wanted to see her because he missed her. The confession takes Woo-joo by surprise, but she doesn’t say anything back to him.
Meanwhile, a concerned Jun calls Woo-joo to talk to her sister because, after learning the truth, Hae-sung isn’t having any of it. She even threatens to call Dong-jin if she refuses to meet them. When Woo-joo does get there, Hae-sung immediately slaps her sister, thinking that Dong-jin is married. Jun tells Hae-sung that Dong-jin isn’t married but is rather Hee-ja’s son. Hae-sung is immediately left confused and dumbfounded and isn’t even able to say anything to either of them in her disbelief.
Jun catches up to a raging Hae-sung and promises her that Woo-joo will break this off since she will never hurt her family. Furthermore, the only reason he didn’t say anything to her for all this time was that Woo-joo had been so aloof for so long that watching her liking someone and enjoying life for once felt real and different, and he wanted to believe what she told him. Hae-sung, however, refuses to budge and leaves him standing alone.

The next morning, Dong-jin tells Hee-ja that he will be going on a business trip the next day while ignoring her fishing for information on his girlfriend. Afterwards, Hee-ja assures him that she will move out of his place soon enough. On his way to work, Dong-jin meets Min-young to ask her about her plans for moving and the future, as well as apologising for his mother’s behaviour towards her.
Meanwhile, Woo-joo promises to end the relationship with Dong-jin and leave the job in two days. However, Hae-sung asks her to end it that day. When Woo-joo seems hesitant, she asks her to do what she pleases, promising to do what she herself wants as well. At work, Yu-ri is taken aback after knowing that Woo-joo is leaving, and Dong-jin notices Sun-woo’s icy behaviour towards Woo-joo.
In the meantime, Hee-ja makes an effort to sell Woo-joo’s old house and gets a nice deal, which Nam-il is able to catch on too soon as well. It turns out that he has a recording of Hee-ja admitting that Chul-min didn’t leave the house in her name and that it actually belongs to his three children. Hee-ja further mentions that she will keep the will hidden, and Nam-il shares this entire conversation recording with Hee-ja in order to blackmail her.

At home, Hae-sung opens up about her feelings that what she has been through with her mother as well as who Dong-jin is.
Hyun-ju is left shocked while Jun informs Woo-joo about what is going on at home. In spite of Dong-jin’s insistence, thus, Woo-joo decides to go back home. Meanwhile, Sun-woo makes the trip to meet Dong-jin and tells him the truth about Woo-joo and her hand in trying to destroy the company. Dong-jin is left heartbroken, and so are Hae-sung and Jun; she tells him not to talk to her anymore and just to reduce their relationship to what it was before.

Hyun-ju, meanwhile, thinks back to Woo-joo’s lie about Dong-jin as Ji-gu and Dong-jin both try to reach Woo-joo but to no avail. She finally reaches out to Dong-jin, who assures her that he doesn’t care about the lie and implores her to meet him. She calls him to her old house and finally tells him the entire truth. But to her shock, Dong-jin isn’t angry at her and tells her that she should’ve told him earlier so that they could share the burden.
A frustrated Woo-joo asks him why he isn’t angry and that he should be furious at her for manipulating him. But he tells her that she didn’t end up ruining him or harming him and that he is simply sad about everything that has happened.
