BTS’ Suga is now the solo artist with the second-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history!
Last week, Suga released his first official solo album “D-DAY,” which immediately set a new record for the highest first-day sales of any solo album after selling 1,072,311 copies on April 21 alone.
Hanteo Chart has now reported that “D-DAY” went on to sell an impressive total of 1,277,218 copies in the first week of its release (April 21 to 27)—making it the solo album with the second-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history (bested only by Jimin‘s solo debut album “FACE“).
Including groups, Suga is now the artist with the ninth-highest first-week sales overall, following SEVENTEEN, his own group BTS, TXT, Stray Kids, NCT DREAM, NCT 127, BLACKPINK, and Jimin.
Congratulations to Suga!
