Branding in Seongsu (2024) K Drama Episode 12

Mar 5, 2024

Branding in Seongsu Episode 12 picks up where the previous episode left off. Eun-ho, who’s inhabiting Na-eon’s body suggests that they have a presentation competition. Furthermore, she gives a brief presentation while siding with Yu-mi, in which she criticises the brand’s business plan. She proposes they scrap the brand and then rebrand it. After this, Jae-ha says he’ll choose a team after the presentation contest.

We see that the Underground team decides to have a market survey at a local bar. Only one person here is drinking the brand’s soju. In addition, the client requests that the server replace a different brand after seeing it. One of their biggest problems becomes apparent when they find out that the brand’s soju’s are not getting sold and are getting accumulated.

On the other hand, Yu-mi invites Eun-ho along, and she goes to meet actor Yun-hyeok. During the relaunch of the brand, they would like the actor to serve as a model. Nevertheless, Yun-hyeok refuses due to his troubled past. However, the actor blacks out following a drinking contest. To her advantage, Na-eon gets the actor’s fingerprint on the document. Following this, he passes out as well.

At this point, we see Eun-ho, who’s inhabiting Na-eon’s body, walking drunkenly towards the house. Shortly after, she spots Jung-woo, who confesses his feelings for her. Meanwhile, Yu-mi drops Eun-ho (Na-eon) to Na-eon’s home. In an effort to lure her into discovering the truth, Na-eon then pulls her in for a kiss.

At the end of the episode, Jung-woo tries to kiss Eun-ho and Na-eon is about to kiss Yu-mi, which puts the two characters in an unpleasant situation because they are in each other’s bodies.

The Episode Review

Episode 12 features Chief Jae-ha’s approval of a presentation competition between the two groups. We see Na-eon attempting to seduce her way into finding the truth. On the other hand, Jung-woo confesses his feelings to Eun-ho, thinking he’s Na-eon.

In keeping with earlier episodes, this one features a strange plot and, as always, the supernatural element adds unnecessary awkwardness. Character arcs aren’t very strong, and the show’s writing isn’t great either. The performers, however, are brilliant in their respective roles, which is one redeeming quality of the show.
