BLACKPINK Becomes 1st K-Pop Girl Group To Top U.S. iTunes Song Chart + Scores No. 1 Around The World

BLACKPINK has reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in the United States with “Kill This Love“!
BLACKPINK released their new song “Kill This Love” off their mini album of the same name at midnight KST on April 5.
The track soared to No. 1 on the Top Songs charts of 36 regions around the world by April 5 at 2 p.m. KST. This includes the United States, Sweden, Portugal, Philippines, Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico, Turkey, Hong Kong, Russia, Thailand, and more.
The quartet is now the first Korean girl group to achieve the feat of hitting No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in the United States. BTS became the first Korean group overall to reach No. 1 on the chart with their remix of “MIC Drop” in 2017.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s mini album “Kill This Love” took No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts in 31 regions by 3:25 p.m. KST, including in Finland, Greece, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, and more.
