"Black Out" Ends On Its Highest Ratings Yet Amid Stiff Competition From "The Judge From Hell"

MBC’s “Black Out” went out on a high note!

On October 4, the series finale of the mystery thriller earned the highest viewership ratings of its entire run. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “Black Out” scored an average nationwide rating of 8.8 percent, marking an all-time high for the drama.

Meanwhile, SBS’s new drama “The Judge from Hell”—which airs in the same time slot as “Black Out”—achieved its highest ratings to date for a Friday. The fifth episode of the fantasy series scored a nationwide average of 9.3 percent, making it the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama of the night.

“The Judge from Hell” also earned its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 3.5 percent.
